Our initial round of tryouts is complete. However, we still have limited openings available on some of our teams.

2026-27 Girls Club Volleyball Season
Welcome to the Start of the 2026-27 Girls Club Volleyball Season at LIVBC.
At LIVBC we offer the opportunity to play on either a TRAVEL or REGIONAL team. Travel teams attend multi-day out of state tournaments that require overnight hotel stays and sometimes air travel, while Regional teams play mostly 1-day tournaments within the GEVA Region with one overnight tournament. The differences will be discussed during the Zoom parents meeting prior to tryouts (details to follow). Players will indicate whether they are interested in Travel or Regional when registering.
Tryouts for Travel and Regional teams will be held on Sunday, August 9th, Monday, August 10th, and Tuesday, August 11th (See details below) at The Sports Arena in St. James. Please read the schedule carefully to be sure you attend on the correct day and time. Players should attend both days. The tryout fee, which covers both days, is $100.
A MAKEUP tryout for players who are not able to attend will be scheduled if needed. To be eligible to attend the Makeup, you must complete the registration form and note your conflict in the Comments section, and then we will contact you when the details are finalized.
Tryout fees are non-refundable.

As noted on the FAQ page, the USAV age definitions differ from the NYS school ages, so players with a late birthday (after July 1st) have the option to play down one grade. Players should generally attend the tryout that matches their grade, but if you are interested in playing down, please note that in the Comment section on the registration form.
All players attending tryouts MUST register in advance. No WALK-UPS will be accommodated on the day of tryouts.
The non-refundable tryout fee is due prior to attending the first tryout.

- Check: Payable to LIVBC and mailed to 34 Maple Glen La, Nesconset, NY 11767(Be sure to include the players name on all methods of payment.)
Registrations received after Thursday, August 6th at 10:00 pm will result in a $20 late fee.
All Tryout Fees are also due by August 6th at 10:00 pm. Any late payments will be charged an additional administrative fee of $20.

The process for offers and time allowed for decision-making will follow GEVA guidelines. In accordance with the GEVA Recruiting and Commitment Policy for 2026-27, "No Affiliations agreed to prior to August 13, 2026 will be honored by GEVA. No Affiliations offered and agreed upon prior to September 27, 2026 will be considered binding by GEVA until October 1, 2026."
