Moravian Kick-off 


LIVBC kicked off the 2019-2020 season with our first win of the season! 

LIVBC 15 National  won the Moravian Kick-Off with a 3 set victory over a strong Warren Six Pak.

The 15s are a new team, with players representing 8 different schools across both Nassau and Suffolk
county.  Led by Coach Stacie Wixted, the boys played like a team that had been playing together for years.  They never lost their focus in the finals...even after losing the first set.  They came back very strong, took the second set and held out in the 3rd 15-13.


LIVBC 16 USA,  also a new team, played in the Moravian 16 Division and split with every team they played…including the 1st ranked team, Club Lehigh.   Led by coaches Patrick Wixted and Tim Kraics, they were competitive in every match and missed the playoffs, by one point.


LIVBC 16 National, led by coach Tom Wixed, the only 16 team in the 17 Division, went 2-1 in pool play, losing only to Warren Six Pak in 3, 24-26, 25-23 and 15-13.  They moved on the to the quarter-finals and defeated Velocity, before losing in the semi-finals to Club Lehigh.


LIVBC 17 National, the only 17 team in the 18 Division, the 17s led by Chris Barton, went 9-0 in pool play and moved on to the playoffs as the #1 seed.  They beat Club Lehigh Inferno in the Quarter Finals, and Warren Sixpack 18-2 in the semi-finals and moved on to the finals where they lost to a very strong Warren Sixpack 18-1 in the finals.


LIVBC 18 National, led by coach, Mike McLaughlin, the 18s sailed thru pool play, defeating the #1 seed, Club Lehigh Power Force and moved onto the playoffs, defeating Club Lehigh Power in the first round, before meeting the tournament winner, Six Pak 18s in the semi-finals where they lost in 3.
