Jennie Sheridan

Girls Director

Girls Director Jennie Sheridan has been with LIVBC for the past 21 years, starting out as a team parent for her son’s team.  She has held several positions on the Boys side, including Secretary, Vice President and Director.  When the Girls program was added to the club in 2009, Jennie became our first Director and has held the position ever since. 

Jennie holds several coaching certifications, including Impact, CAP I and Gold Medal Squared.  She also holds a Varsity rating in high school volleyball officiating and is active in Suffolk County.

She believes you should always watch what you do.  You never know when someone is watching you because you are their inspiration or hero.

Rich Zdrojeski

Coach Rich Zdrojeski is a long-time LIVBC coach who started with the Boys program in 2001.  After 8 years as a Head Coach for the Boys, he switched to the Girls program in 2009 and has been a Head Coach with us ever since.  In 2016 he added the Boys back in and coached both for a few seasons.  He has also been a coach in our youth program, the Junior Diggers, since 2013.

Coach Rich played volleyball at Northeastern University and holds several coaching certifications, including CAP I, Gold Medal Squared and AOC.  In 2019, he was honored as the Boys ACVA/GEVA Coach of the Year.  He is currently the Girls JV volleyball coach at Islip High School.

Karen Edwards

Coach Karen Edwards returns to the coaching staff at LIVBC for her second season in 2021-22.  She has been the Head Coach of the Girls Varsity program at Connetquot HS for the past 2 years, following 16 years as the JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach. She has been honored as the Suffolk County Volleyball – League Coach of the Year 3 times, most recently in 2019.

Coach Karen is a Business teacher at Oakdale-Bohemia Middle School, where she has also been the Head Coach of the Girls and Boys volleyball programs and Head Coach of the Girls softball team.

Michael Weaver

Coach Michael Weaver has been with LIVBC for 13 years and has coached at several levels, including the 14s, 16s, 17s and 18s, and is also a Clinician at our annual Summer Camp.  He holds a NYS Coaching Certification, as well as being Impact, CAP I and Gold Medal Squared certified.

He has been the Head Coach of the Girls Varsity program at Centereach High School for the past 17 years, following 3 years as the JV coach at Newfield HS.  While at Centereach, he has been honored as the Suffolk County Volleyball – League Coach of the Year 3 times, most recently in 2016.

Coach Weaver has earned both a Bachelors and Masters degree from Stony Brook University.

Taylor Carangi

Coach Taylor Carangi recently returned to Long Island and joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season.  She played Varsity volleyball at West Islip HS and also played for LIVBC from 2009 to 2013.  She attended East Carolina University, where she served as President / Coach of the Women’s Club Volleyball team for 3 years. 

Coach Taylor has been involved with travel volleyball at various clubs in North Carolina for the past 7 years as a Head Coach for National teams and Lead Trainer for Regional teams, and also assisted with college recruiting.  She was Head Coach of the Varsity team at Forbush HS in NC, where she earned Conference Coach of the Year honors.  Coach Taylor is currently the Girls JV volleyball coach at West Islip HS.  

 

Kimberly Waldvogel

Coach Kimberly Waldvogel returns for her 5th year at LIVBC.  She is currently the Head Coach of the Girls Varsity team at Islip HS and also has experience coaching at the Boys Varsity and Girls JV level.

She played club volleyball for both LIVBC and Academy, and was a 3-year Varsity starter at Libero/DS for Smithtown West HS where she won several awards, including Honorable Mention Rookie of the Year, All League, All Conference and All Tournament, and the Maura Stouter Award.

Coach Kim graduated from SUNY Cortland with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education and a Concentration in Adaptive Physical Education.

Karolina Augusciak

Coach Karolina Augusciak joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season.  She started playing volleyball in middle school, played high school and club while living in Poland, and continues to play competitive AA beach doubles. 

Coach Karolina has coached at the high school level and at South Bay Volleyball Club in Amityville, where she coached both indoor and beach, and she has been providing private lessons in beach doubles to adults for the past 4 years.  She has been officiating indoor volleyball for the past 10 years at the varsity, college and USA volleyball levels.  Her passions are beach volleyball, hiking, and swimming.

Fernando (Freddie) Rodriguez

Coach Freddie Rodriguez returns for his third year on the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2022 season.  He coached the Boys Varsity volleyball team at Aviation High School in NYC for 27 years and Girls club volleyball in Suffolk County for 4 seasons.  He also served 19 seasons as the Girls Volleyball Commissioner for the NYC Public Schools Athletic League.

Coach Freddie retired from teaching after 33 years as an Instructor of Aviation Maintenance Technology and is a Veteran of the US Navy.  He is a certified volleyball official for both PAVO and NY State.  He is big on safety, fun and learning, then winning.

Fun Fact:

Coach Freddie worked 12 to 16 hours a day on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Forrestal CV 59 fixing, launching and recovering fighter jets.

Allie Luft

Coach Allie Luft is entering her 7th year of coaching at LIVBC and is Impact certified.  She has coached at the 14s, 15s and 16s levels and has been the Head Coach of the 16 Gold team for the past 4 seasons.

Coach Allie started playing volleyball when she was 13, first at Club Attack and then for 3 years at LIVBC.  She played throughout high school at Northport HS and college at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) where she joined the Grand Club for amassing over 1,000 digs.  She graduated from MCLA with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Sport Psychology.

LIVBC Coach Tom Luft is Coach Allie’s brother-in-law.

 

Kaitlin (Kait) Williams

Coach Kait Williams is entering her 5th year of coaching at LIVBC and has coached teams at the 14s, 15s and 16s levels.  She is currently the Head Coach of the Girls Varsity volleyball team at Lindenhurst High School.  Coach Kait played Varsity volleyball for Sachem East HS and played for the Women’s team at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue.

Mike Patto

Coach Mike Patto has been with LIVBC for the last 9 years, coaching at all levels between the 14s and 17s, and is IMPACT certified.  He is the Head Coach of the Boys Varsity team at Walt Whitman HS, entering his 10th season after 1 year at the JV level.

He played Varsity volleyball at Walt Whitman and 4 years of club volleyball at LIVBC and Long Island Elite.

Coach Patto earned a Bachelors degree in Health and Physical Education from East Stroudsburg University and a Masters degree in Physical Education from Adelphi University.

Adam Rodriguez

Coach Adam Rodriguez joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season.  He was born into volleyball, as his father is a long-time coach (including at LIVBC) and referee, and he started playing in 7th grade.  When he turned 18, he started officiating volleyball and has been coaching since 2015.

Coach Rodriguez was the Head Coach for the Girls Varsity volleyball team at Comsewogue HS for one year and then moved over to the Boys Varsity team at Half Hollow Hills, while continuing to officiate.  He has also coached at the club level for five years with Rival and Club Attack.

 

Kevin Parker

Coach Kevin Parker returns for his fourth year at LIVBC, and led one of our 14s teams to a 2nd place finish at GEVA Regionals in 2019.  Prior to joining us he spent 2 years as the Varsity Girls coach at Comsewogue HS and 1 year as the JV Girls coach at Rocky Point HS, along with 3 years of coaching middle school girls.

Coach Parker played 4 years of Varsity volleyball at Hicksville HS and 2 years on the Club team at the University of Buffalo (UB).  He earned a Bachelors degree in English and a Masters in Secondary English Education at UB and is currently an English teacher at Great Neck North MS.

His coaching philosophy comes from this quote by the great Brazilian soccer player Pele, “Success is no accident.  It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”

Steve Greco

Coach Steve Greco has coached at LIVBC for the past 11 years, with several of his teams qualifying for Power League.  He is currently in his 13th year as Girls Varsity coach at Walt Whitman HS after 1 year of JV, during which he was named JV Coach of the Year.  In 2015, he brought the Whitman program to its first playoff appearance – and win – in 21 years and has sent several of his girls on to play volleyball at Division I, II and III Colleges and Universities.

Coach Greco played Libero and Setter for Commack HS and continues to play Beach Volleyball.  He holds a NYS Public High School Coaching Certification, and is IMPACT, USAV CAP Level I, and Gold Medal Squared certified.

Coach Greco is an 8th Grade Special Education Math Teacher.

Dani Nizich

Coach Dani Nizich has served as assistant coach for the Girls Varsity team at Smithtown East HS and is entering her 6th year as a coach at LIVBC, working mostly with the younger age groups.  She is also a former player for LIVBC.

Coach Dani played 3 years of Division I volleyball at Stony Brook University, where she earned a Bachelors degree in Political Science.  Prior to her career at Stony Brook, she played 5 years of varsity volleyball at Smithtown East, where she earned various accolades and awards.

Fun Fact:

Coach Dani has a twin sister who played Division II Field Hockey at Adelphi University.

 

Jessica Monteserrato

Coach Jessica Monteserrato is returning for her 5th year of coaching at LIVBC and has experience at both the 14s and 15s level.  Her playing career includes 4 years at Mepham HS, 3 years of club volleyball and 4 years at the Division II level for St Joseph’s College in Patchogue.

Coach Jess graduated from St. Joseph’s with a double major in Elementary Education and Speech.  She is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at St. John’s University in Hauppauge.

Suzanne Amberge

Coach Suzanne Amberge joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season.  She is the girls Varsity volleyball coach at Lynbrook HS, where she has qualified for the playoffs in each of her 13 seasons.  In addition, she led 5 teams to the Nassau County championship game, 1 to the NYS Regional Finals and 1 to the State Finals.  She has also coached youth volleyball and basketball, and was a referee for both, but ultimately decided that she preferred coaching to officiating.

Coach Amberge earned a Bachelors degree in Physical Education with NYS Coaching Certification from SUNY Cortland and a Masters in Health Education from Hofstra University.

Coach Amberge has a son who played for LIVBC in high school, continued to play in college, and still plays tournaments and beach volleyball with his LIVBC teammates.

Jennifer Wheeler

Coach Jennifer Wheeler joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season.  Coach Jenn played for LIVBC for 3 years and played 3 years of Varsity volleyball at Rocky Point HS as a setter.  She earned All-League honors in her junior and senior years and was captain and team MVP in her senior season.

Coach Jenn played Club volleyball at SUNY Geneseo, where she served multiple semesters as Team Captain and Club President.  She graduated from Geneseo in 2021 with a Bachelors degree in Math Adolescence Education and is a first year head coach for girls volleyball at Dawnwood Middle School, where she teaches Algebra. 

 

Diana Chong

Coach Diana Chong joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2022 season.  She has over 15 years of experience coaching volleyball, starting with a local Parks and Recreation league and progressing through the youth, JHS and HS levels.  In addition, she has been the Volleyball Commissioner for the Longwood Youth Sports Association (LYSA) since 2014 and a SWAT Beach Volleyball coach since 2015.

Coach Chong is a Teacher Assistant at Longwood MS and a NYS certified Physical Education teacher.  She is currently the Assistant Coach for Girls Varsity Volleyball and Head Coach for JV at Longwood HS, as well as the Head Coach of the girls volleyball team at Longwood JHS.

Kyle Fabian

Coach Kyle Fabian joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season.  He played volleyball for all 4 years at Smithtown East High School and after graduating, he was an assistant coach at Rival Volleyball Club for 4 seasons.  After taking some time off from coaching, he’s ready to help our players grow to their full potential.

Hannah LePage

Coach Hannah LePage joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season.  She started playing volleyball in 7th grade and played every position except libero during her career.  She was a 3-year varsity starter at setter and middle for Islip High School, where she won the Coach’s Award in her junior year and was All League in both her junior and senior seasons.  She also played travel volleyball for various clubs, including LIVBC during her senior year.

Fun Fact:

Coach Hannah played for fellow LIVBC coach Kim Waldvogel during her senior season at Islip and played with coach Maddie Gremli from 7th grade through high school.

 

Abigail (Abi) Moosazadeh

Coach Abi Moosazadeh joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season.  Coach Abi was a 4-year varsity player at Half Hollow Hills West HS and played club volleyball at LIVBC for three years, after 2 seasons at ACAD.

Coach Abi went on to play volleyball at SUNY Geneseo and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelors degree in Psychology.  She hopes to pursue a Masters degree starting in the spring of 2022.

Julia Louis

Coach Julia Louis joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season.  Coach Julia started playing volleyball in 6th grade and played club volleyball for five years at LIVBC.  She played for three years on the Varsity team at Northport High School. 

Coach Julia continued her playing career at Union College in Schenectady, NY where she played all four years at right side.  She studied Economics and Psychology and graduated in 2021.

Nelcida Muniz

Coach Nelcida Muniz joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season.  She was a 3-year starter for the varsity volleyball team at W.C. Bryant High School and went on to play Division III volleyball at The City College of New York, where she was a 4-year starter at outside hitter and was team captain for 3 years.

Coach Muniz has a Masters degree in Computer Science.

Mohsen ZamZam (Zam)

Coach Mohsen Zamzam joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season.  He started playing volleyball in high school, continued through college club teams and currently plays in competitive A level indoor leagues, as well as beach volleyball during the summer.

Coach Zam previously coached at Northport Volleyball Club where he led his 16’s team to the finals in all of their GEVA tournaments.  He conducted several volleyball clinics for East End Volleyball and has provided indoor and outdoor private lessons for the past 6 years.  Coach Zam has also been a varsity official for both boys and girls volleyball for the last 14 years.  He has a great passion for volleyball, tennis and soccer.

Ellen Hoffman

Coach Ellen Hoffman returns for her third year on the LIVBC coaching staff for the 2022 season.  She is the Head Coach of both the Middle School and JV Girls volleyball teams and the Assistant Coach of the Varsity volleyball team at Bellport High School, where she is also an English teacher.

Coach Ellen has coached club volleyball at both United and Long Island Fury before taking a brief break from travel.  She was excited to continue her club coaching career at LIVBC.

Alicia Feeney

Coach Alicia Feeney returns for her third year on the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season.  She played volleyball from 8th grade through high school and graduated from Centereach HS.  She also played soccer and softball growing up and still plays both beach and indoor volleyball.  She has 4 years of experience coaching youth soccer.

Coach Alicia has an Associates degree from Suffolk Community College and a Diploma for Office Administration from Hunter Business School.  She is currently a medical biller for a multi-specialty practice.

Kayla Martin

Coach Kayla Martin returns for her third year on the LIVBC coaching staff for the 2021-22 season.  She played 3 years of Varsity volleyball at Patchogue Medford HS and played club volleyball for Academy, Fury, United and LIVBC.  She has experience coaching at various clinics and camps at Patchogue Medford.

Coach Kayla currently plays for the Women’s volleyball team at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue where she is a junior majoring in Nursing.

Emma Rehrauer

Coach Emma Rehrauer recently moved to Long Island from the Buffalo, NY area, where she coached at the Niagara County Volleyball Club for the past 4 years and led several of her teams to a number one ranking in their region.  Her coaching experience includes assisting girls programs at both the JV and Varsity levels, as well as running volleyball camps for new to advanced players in a range of age groups.

Coach Emma played outside hitter at a Division I program before being injured and continues to play on both the court and the sand.  She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Stony Brook University.

Emma Kongevold

Coach Emma Kongevold joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season.  She is currently a first-year Assistant Coach for the Girls Varsity Volleyball team at Walt Whitman HS.

Coach Emma was a 3-year Varsity player at Walt Whitman and played for LIVBC for 4 years before heading to Wilmington University in Delaware.  While at Wilmington she played Division II volleyball for all four years and also ran track and field during her junior and senior years.  She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education in 2020.

Laina Rivers

Coach Laina Rivers returns for her third year on the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season with 6 years of experience playing for the club and assisting with our youth clinics.  She also played for 4 years at Smithtown West HS.

She is currently a senior at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, studying Adolescent English Education.

Britney Diaz

Coach Britney Diaz joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season.  She started playing volleyball in 7th grade and played Varsity for all 4 years at Brentwood High School, as well as 2 years at LIVBC.

Coach Britney continued her playing career during her first year at Nassau Community College and continues to play in adult leagues year-round.  She gained coaching experience at La Espiguita Soccer Academy in Brentwood, where she created and implemented practice plans for both girls and boys ages 12-16 at their summer volleyball camp.

Michael Schober

Coach Michael Schober joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season.  He has a Bachelors degree from Manhattanville College and a Masters from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in the Bronx, and has been a Math teacher and Dean in NYC for the past 30 years.

Coach Schober has 20+ years of coaching experience at the high school and college levels.  He led Christ the King Regional HS to 3 straight CHSAA-AA State titles and Saint Joseph’s College of Brooklyn to 5 straight Hudson Valley Conference Championships, while being named Hudson Valley Coach of the Year twice.  He is also a former Director of the Tri-County Volleyball Club in Brooklyn and a PAVO referee.

Kymberly Rambazis

Coach Kymberly Rambazis returns for her third year on the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2022 season.  She started playing volleyball in 7th grade and continued through 3 years at the Varsity level at North Babylon HS and 2 seasons of Division II volleyball at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue.

Coach Kymberly graduated from St. Joseph’s in 2020 with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Speech.  She is currently a student at Stony Brook University pursuing a Masters degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.

Fun Fact:

After finishing college, Coach Kym’s goal is to teach on military bases around the world.

Fotis Michael

Coach Fotis Michael joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2022 season.  He began his coaching career as a volunteer Head Coach for boys youth volleyball in 2010 before becoming Head Coach of the JV Girls Volleyball team at Centereach HS, where he was named JV Coach of the Year in 2017.  He has also coached girls basketball at both the JV and Varsity levels.

Coach Fotis currently teaches ELA at Centereach HS.  He is the Assistant Coach for the Varsity Girls Volleyball team at Centereach and Head Coach for girls volleyball and basketball at Dawnwood MS.

April Sexton

Coach April Sexton joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season.  She played libero for the varsity volleyball team at Bay Shore HS for 2 years and earned All-County Academic, All League and Scholar Athlete awards.  She also played travel volleyball for Rival from 10th to 12th grades and has coaching experience from working at the annual Bay Shore HS summer camp since high school.

Coach April is a sophomore at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, where she is majoring in Mathematics Adolescence Education and plays libero / DS on the Women’s volleyball team.

Madison Gremli

Coach Madison Gremli joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2021-22 season.  She was a 3-year starter for the varsity volleyball team at Islip High School, where she was a 3-time scholar athlete and earned All League honors twice.  She also played on various club teams from 8th through 12th grades and gained coaching experience from working at several youth volleyball clinics for ages 13 and up.

Coach Madison is a sophomore Child Study major at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue and plans to become an elementary school teacher.  She is also the starting outside hitter on the Women’s volleyball team.
