Girls Director Jennie Sheridan has been with LIVBC for the past 19 years, starting out as a team parent for her son’s team. She has held several positions on the Boys side, including Secretary, Vice President and Director. When the Girls program was added to the club in 2009, Jennie became our first Director and has held the position ever since.
Jennie holds several coaching certifications, including Impact, CAP I and Gold Medal Squared. She also holds a Varsity rating in high school volleyball officiating and is active in Suffolk County.

Coach Michael Weaver has been with LIVBC for 11 years and has coached at several levels, including the 14s, 16s, 17s and 18s, and is also a Clinician at our annual Summer Camp. He holds a NYS Coaching Certification, as well as being Impact, CAP I and Gold Medal Squared certified.
He has been the Head Coach of the Girls Varsity program at Centereach High School for the past 15 years, following 3 years as the JV coach at Newfield HS. While at Centereach, he has been honored as the Suffolk County Volleyball – League Coach of the Year 3 times, most recently in 2016.
Coach Weaver has earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Stony Brook University.

Alexa (Lexx) Santiago

Coach Lexx Santiago is entering her 4th year with LIVBC following 8 years of coaching teams from the middle school level through college. This includes MS and HS girls, HS boys, and 2 years with the women’s program at the US Merchant Marine Academy, as both an assistant and head coach.
Coach Lexx started playing school volleyball in 7th grade and club in 9th grade, with the Suffolk Stars, Club Attack, Monarch and LI United. She continued her playing career at the collegiate level, starting at Georgian Court University before transferring to Queens College, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Exercise Science and Nutrition.

Coach Mike Patto has been with LIVBC for the last 7 years, coaching at all levels between the 14s and 17s, and is IMPACT certified. He is the Head Coach of the Boys Varsity team at Walt Whitman HS, entering his 8th season after 1 year at the JV level.
He played Varsity volleyball at Walt Whitman and 4 years of club volleyball at LIVBC and Long Island Elite.
Coach Patto earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from East Stroudsburg University and a Master’s degree in Physical Education from Adelphi.

Coach Allie Luft is entering her 5th year of coaching at LIVBC and is Impact certified. She has coached at the 14s, 15s and 16s levels and was Head Coach of the 16 Gold team for the past 2 seasons.
Coach Allie started playing volleyball when she was 13, first at Club Attack and then for 3 years at LIVBC. She played throughout high school at Northport HS and college at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) where she joined the Grand Club for amassing over 1,000 digs. She graduated from MCLA with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology.

Kaitlin (Kait) Williams

Coach Kait Williams is entering her 3rd year of coaching at LIVBC and has coached both the 14s and 15s, in addition to coaching clinics and camps at Sachem East HS. Coach Kait played Varsity volleyball for Sachem East and currently plays for the Women’s team at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, where she is a junior.

Coach Steve Greco has coached at LIVBC for the past 9 years, with each of his teams qualifying for Power League. He is currently in his 11th year as Girls Varsity coach at Walt Whitman HS after 1 year of JV, during which he was named JV Coach of the Year. In 2015, he brought the Whitman program to its first playoff appearance – and win – in 21 years and has sent several of his girls on to play volleyball at Division I, II and III Colleges and Universities.
Coach Greco played Libero and Setter for Commack HS and continues to play Beach Volleyball. He holds a NYS Public High School Coaching Certification, and is IMPACT, USAV CAP Level I, and Gold Medal Squared certified.
Coach Greco is an 8th Grade Special Education Math Teacher.

Coach Larry Auth has 14 years of experience coaching travel volleyball at various clubs, including 4 years at LIVBC, and is Impact certified by USA Volleyball. He is currently the Girls Varsity coach at Bellport HS, a position he has held for the past 24 years, after coaching at the JV level for 14 years. During his 24 years at the Varsity level, Bellport has won 14 League Championships and 1 County Championship, and Coach Auth has been named League Coach of the Year 9 times and County Coach of the Year once.
Coach Auth is retired from Bellport HS, where he taught for 30 years.

Coach Kevin Parker returns for his second year at LIVBC, following a successful season leading one of our 14s teams to a 2nd place finish at GEVA Regionals in 2019. Prior to joining us he spent 2 years as the Varsity Girls coach at Comsewogue HS and 1 year as the JV Girls coach at Rocky Point HS, along with 3 years of coaching middle school girls.
Coach Parker played 4 years of Varsity volleyball at Hicksville HS and 2 years on the Club team at the University of Buffalo (UB). He earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s in Secondary English Education at UB and is currently an English teacher at Great Neck North MS.

Coach Jessica Monteserrato is returning for her 3rd year of coaching at LIVBC and has experience at both the 14s and 15s level. Her playing career includes 4 years at Mepham HS, 3 years of club volleyball and 4 years at the Division II level for St Joseph’s College in Patchogue.
Coach Jess graduated from St. Joseph’s with a double major in Elementary Education and Speech. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at St. John’s University in Hauppauge.
Coach Jess once cracked her front tooth doing a burpee during volleyball practice in college.

Coach Kimberly Waldvogel returns for her 3rd year at LIVBC. She is currently the Head Coach of the Girls Varsity team at Islip HS and also has experience coaching at the Boys Varsity and Girls JV level.
She played club volleyball for both LIVBC and Academy, and was a 3-year Varsity starter at Libero/DS for Smithtown West HS where she won several awards, including Honorable Mention Rookie of the Year, All League, All Conference and All Tournament, and the Maura Stouter Award.
Coach Kim graduated from SUNY Cortland with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and a Concentration in Adaptive Physical Education.

Coach Rich Zdrojeski is a long-time LIVBC coach who started with the Boys program in 2001. After 8 years as a Head Coach for the Boys, he switched to the Girls program in 2009 and has been a Head Coach with us ever since. In 2016 he added the Boys back in and now coaches both. He has also been a coach in our youth program, the Junior Diggers, since 2013.
Coach Rich played volleyball at North Eastern University and holds several coaching certifications, including CAP I, Gold Medal Squared and AOC. In 2019, he was honored as the Boys ACVA/GEVA Coach of the Year.

Coach Courtney Silberer is a recent graduate of SUNY Cortland and is entering her second year of coaching for LIVBC. She has 11 years of playing experience, including 3 years at LIVBC. She played varsity volleyball at Centereach HS for 3 years and played all 4 years at Cortland, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology. While at Cortland, she coached at their summer camp for 5 years.
Coach Courtney has a fraternal twin, who she has played volleyball with at all levels – High School, LIVBC and even at Cortland.

Coach Ellen Hoffman joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2020 season. She is the Head Coach of both the Middle School and JV Girls volleyball teams and the Assistant Coach of the Varsity volleyball team at Bellport High School, where she is also an English teacher.
Coach Ellen has coached club volleyball at both United and Long Island Fury before taking a brief break from travel. She is excited to resume her club coaching career at LIVBC.

Head Coach - 14 Black
Coach Timothy Kraics joins the Girls coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2020 season, after a year on the Boys staff – where he also coaches this season. He was a 4-year starter on the Varsity volleyball team at Ward Melville HS, where he earned All-County honors as both a libero and a setter and was a 3-time recipient of his league’s top libero award. He was also a member of the Bronze medal-winning Scholastic team at the 2003 Empire State Games.
Coach Tim went on to play 4 years of Division I varsity volleyball at the University of Southern California, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He currently works in real estate finance and is both Impact and Safe Sport certified.
Coach Tim’s father played baseball at Colgate University and he has one sister who ran track at Gettysburg College and another who played lacrosse at Columbia University.

Alexandra (Alex) Garcia
Head Coach - 14 Red
Coach Alex Garcia joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2020 season. She played volleyball throughout middle school and high school and was the Varsity captain during her junior and senior seasons at Centereach HS. She played 5 years of club volleyball, including 4 with LIVBC.
Coach Alex graduated from Stony Brook University in 2018 with a BS degree in Health Science and a BA degree in Sociology. She has 5 years of experience coaching at middle school volleyball clinics at Centereach HS and assisting with middle school tryouts.

Coach Dani Nizich has served as assistant coach for the Girls Varsity team at Smithtown East HS and is entering her 4th year as a coach at LIVBC, working mostly with the younger age groups. She is also a former player for LIVBC.
Coach Dani played 3 years of Division I volleyball at Stony Brook University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Prior to her career at Stony Brook, she played 5 years of varsity volleyball at Smithtown East, where she earned various accolades and awards.
Coach Dani has a twin sister who played Division II Field Hockey at Adelphi University.
Fernando (Freddie) Rodriguez
Head Coach - 13 Gold
Coach Freddie Rodriguez joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2020 season. He coached the Boy’s Varsity Volleyball team at Aviation High School in NYC for 27 years and Girls club volleyball in Suffolk County for 4 seasons. He also served 19 seasons as the Girl’s Volleyball Commissioner for the NYC Public Schools Athletic League.
Coach Freddie retired from teaching after 33 years as an Instructor of Aviation Maintenance Technology and is a Veteran of the US Navy. He is a certified volleyball official for both PAVO and NY State. He is big on safety, fun and learning, then winning.
Coach Freddie worked 12 to 16 hours a day on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Forrestal CV 59 fixing, launching and recovering fighter jets.

Coach Karen Barrera joins the LIVBC coaching staff for the 2019-20 season. She has played volleyball for the past 7 years and is currently in her second season on the women’s team at Suffolk Community College, where she plays both Setter and Libero.
Coach Karen gained experience coaching girls in grades 4-12 at the Bellport HS summer volleyball camps.

Coach Tiffany Willms has been coaching at LIVBC for the past 3 years, at various levels. Prior to coaching she was a long-time volleyball player, including all 4 years at Centereach HS, 3 years of Club with LIVBC and 4 years at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, NY.
Coach Tiffany lived in Australia for 6 months.

Coach Kayla Martin joins the LIVBC coaching staff for the 2019-20 season. She played 3 years of Varsity volleyball at Patchogue Medford HS and played club volleyball for Academy, Fury, United and LIVBC. She has experience coaching at various clinics and camps at Patchogue Medford.
Coach Kayla currently plays for the Women’s volleyball team at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue where she is a freshman majoring in Nursing.

Coach Alicia Feeney joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2020 season. She played volleyball from 8th grade through high school and graduated from Centereach HS. She also played soccer and softball growing up and still plays both beach and indoor volleyball. She has 4 years of experience coaching youth soccer.
Coach Alicia has an Associate’s degree from Suffolk Community College and a Diploma for Office Administration from Hunter Business School. She is currently a medical biller for a multi-specialty practice.
Coach Alicia played high school volleyball for fellow LIVBC coach Mike Weaver and alongside LIVBC coach Courtney Silberer.

Coach Shelby Genung is entering her second year of coaching with LIVBC after assisting both a 14s and 17s team during the 2018-19 season. She played 3 years of Club volleyball during her high school years and 4 years at the Division I level at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.
Coach Shelby is currently a graduate student majoring in Occupational Therapy at Stony Brook University.

Katherine (Kat) DeLanty
Assistant Coach - 15 Gold
Coach Kat DeLanty started with LIVBC during the 2018-19 season, filling two positions as Assistant Coach for the 17 Blue team and Head Coach for 13 Gold. She also has experience coaching at the Stonehill College Summer Volleyball Camp for 4 years.
She played Varsity volleyball for Smithtown West HS, played with LIVBC for 6 years, and competed at the Division II level for Stonehill College for 4 seasons.
Coach Kat is currently a graduate student majoring in Occupational Therapy at Stony Brook University.
Assistant Coach - 15 White
Coach Celeste Santiago joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2019-20 season after playing volleyball throughout high school and for LIVBC since she was 13.
Coach Celeste is a student at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue studying Education. She hopes to combine her future teaching career with coaching volleyball at the middle school or high school level.

Coach Kymberly Rambazis joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2020 season. She started playing volleyball in 7th grade and continued through 3 years at the Varsity level at North Babylon HS and 2 seasons of Division II volleyball at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue.
Coach Kymberly is currently a senior at St. Joseph’s where she is majoring in Elementary Education with a concentration in Speech.
After graduating from college, Coach Kym’s goal is to teach on military bases around the world.

Coach Katarina Norte returns to LIVBC for her 4th season, with experience as both a head and assistant coach - including a Silver medal finish at Regionals as Head Coach of the 15 Red team last year. She is both IMPACT and SafeSport certified, and her coaching philosophy is “We will treat each other with respect; and always give it 110% at practice.”
Coach Kat has 7 years of playing experience, including 2 years as a setter at the Junior College level. She graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and currently works as a Registered Nurse at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Coach Katy Teets joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2019-20 season. She played 4 years of Varsity volleyball at Half Hollow Hills West HS and competed for 4 years at the Division II level at Saint Anselm College, where she graduated in 2018.
Coach Katy was once featured on ESPN’s SportCenter Top 10 Plays of the Day for a kick-kill she recorded during the NCAA playoffs.
Assistant Coach - 14 Blue
Coach Laina Rivers joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2019-20 season with 6 years of experience playing for the club and assisting with our youth clinics. She also played for 4 years at Smithtown West HS.
She is currently a sophomore at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, studying Adolescent English Education.
Coach Laina’s guilty pleasure is mac and cheese.
Assistant Coach - 14 Gold
Coach Evan Renton joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2020 season. He began his coaching career by running a youth volleyball program at the Foundation for Academics, Enrichment and Recreation (FAER) summer camp in North Bellmore when he was 20 years old.
Coach Evan played 3 years of Varsity volleyball at Mepham HS before enrolling at SUNY Buffalo, where he played for and organized the men’s club volleyball team for 2 years. He then transferred to Baruch College and played 2 seasons of Varsity volleyball at the Division II level.
Coach Evan is a longtime NY Giants fan. His younger brother played for LIVBC and now attends SUNY Oneonta, where he plays club volleyball.
Assistant Coach - 14 Black
Coach Kelcey Taylor joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2020 season. She played both travel volleyball and travel softball while growing up and has experience coaching travel softball.
Coach Kelsey earned an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts from Nassau Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration from SUNY Old Westbury. She currently works at Winthrop Hospital.
Coach Kelcey stays in shape by working out at Orangetheory Fitness and loves the beach.

Coach Jessyca Fenigstein joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2020 season. She started playing volleyball in 8th grade and continued through her senior year at Islip HS. She also played 4 seasons of club volleyball for LIVBC and Academy.
Coach Jessyca recently graduated from Binghamton University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature with a concentration in Rhetorical Studies.
Coach Jessyca loves makeup and cooking.

Coach Elora Sherman joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2020 season. She played volleyball throughout middle school and high school, as well as 6 years of club volleyball, including 4 with LIVBC. She went on to play one season at the Division III level at SUNY Plattsburgh.
Coach Elora attended one semester at Plattsburgh before joining the US Navy and is now a part-time student at SUNY Farmingdale. She has experience coaching at the middle school summer volleyball camp at her alma mater, Harborfields HS.
Coach Elora is an Electricians Mate in the Navy Reserves.

Coach Kristen Freriks joins the coaching staff at LIVBC for the 2020 season. She played school volleyball from 8th to 12th grade and played club for LIVBC and Rival. She also played beach volleyball through the YMCA and has always had a love for fitness, sports and being part of a team.
Coach Kristen recently graduated from Queens College with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and earned her NYS certification to teach Music in grades K through 12. She has volunteered to teach music to students with special needs and hopes to combine teaching with coaching school volleyball.
While student teaching in the Northport School District, Coach Kristen had the opportunity to conduct 100 students during their spring concert and helped to chaperone almost 300 members of the marching band on a field trip to Washington, DC.
